Should I stay or should I go? Barton's move 'dilemma'

On-loan Marseille midfielder Joey Barton will have a big decision to make over his future in the summer - stay in France should that option be on the table or head back to parent club QPR?

If current Rangers boss Harry Redknapp's advice is anything to go by, then a return to Loftus Road seemingly wouldn't be the wisest decision.

The former Portsmouth manager spoke of Barton's picturesque drive to work in an interview on Friday but if it's rain, skyscrapers, Redknapp's face and the Championship that the one-time Newcastle midfielder is after, then QPR could just be the place to be next season...

Barton goes to extreme lengths to gain acceptance from France

If you thought Englishmen abroad couldn't get cringe-worthy than 'Schteve' McClaren's Dutch accent, you were wrong.

Joey Barton came across all 'Allo 'Allo this weekend after making his Ligue 1 debut, talking to the French media with an incredible accent, that was part-Scouse, part-French and totally ridiculous.

But what next for the QPR outcast? A beret? A string of garlic? Carrying around a boombox that constantly plays Edith Piaf on a continual loop?

We can only wait and see...

The Greatest Show on Earth

All of England was a stage and all the players merely, erm, players, but it was Roberto Mancini's Manchester City side who proved the star performers in the Premier League's most stunning piece of drama yet.
Their stoppage-time triumph to come from behind to beat QPR 3-2 at the Etihad Stadium was straight out of a brilliant script and made for astonishing theatre as Manchester United, winners at Sunderland, had the trophy snatched away at the last second.
